I wonder if I could make it here? There aren't any authentic Italian places around here, but I can't just look up a recipe either.

Japanese pizza is very different from Italian and American pizza or so I've often heard. Pineapple isn't terribly common, but many of the toppings available for Japanese people are unusual? Miso, corn, natto, shirako, mayonnaise, perilla leaves, and yakiniku are a few if you're familiar with them.

There are variations in what 'dough' can be used, too. Rice, mochi, gyoza skin.

This probably sounds pretty weird to you.
