[He's getting more daring, and she discovers quickly just how much she likes that. It's not fast, which is nice; it's not like he's kissing her breathless or anything like that. But one kiss is flowing smoothly into another and then another, almost hypnotic in its rhythm, and she really thinks that she could close her eyes and just...let him kiss her all day, if he wanted.]

[Her hand slides up, daring in the way she tugs his hat off a little, reaching underneath to run her fingers through his hair.]

[ He couldn’t help but lean into that touch to his hair, reaching up to pull his hat off the rest of the way and toss it to the side with a soft laugh. He’d promised her before that he would try to wear it less around her anyway, now seemed as a good a time as any to make good on it. ]

3) A burned CD with some songs from bands he thinks Mista might like/already likes (The Carpenters, ABBA, Barbra Streisand, Nancy Sinatra, The Bee Gees, Dolly Parton etc etc ). There is no point to giving him a CD when birdboxes exist but mixtapes are all the rage in the 90s and he is a 90s boy. ]

[ Mista was used to people being overly friendly, but this certainly was a completely different thing considering the start they'd gotten. He was far too stunned to reciprocate any of that societal affection. ]
