[ He was almost a little too deep in thought, looking up at Josuke after a moment before chuckling awkwardly and bringing his own hand up to the back of his head. ]

[ That announcement for them as he swung out the cylinder of his gun to let them crawl out and run wild in their little house. ]

[ The store he was at did sell tiny little dollhouse furniture and accessories, so they probably did have plates. Josuke makes a note to himself to go back there. Anyway, before that, it's time to enjoy the spoils of his efforts. Josuke moves closer to the dollhouse, watching with pride as the little pistols start exploring their new home. ]
Holy shit, this is cute -- Looks like they like it! But they're such a handful, huh? [ They're pretty much everywhere right now. It's a wonder how Mista keeps them in line. Josuke takes out his phone and starts capturing the moment on video. It's just really cute? ] We should probably get more beds though, I don't want 'em to start fighting.
[ He was practically beaming as he watched them tear around the tiny little house, those shrill but still pleasant voices sounded just as happy as he felt right now. Even that little flutter in his heart was nice, even if he wasn't sure what that was really about. He'd come to figure that out soon enough, wouldn't he? ]
Oh yeah, they're a fucking mess sometimes but I don't think I'd wanna see what things would be like if they weren't around...beds'd be good, though, in case they wanna take a nap when they're out.
[ There was a wistful smile on his lips, Mista shifting his weight slightly. ]
Sometimes I wish I could really leave them out all the time, let them do what they want and have a little freedom but that'd take a shit ton of chroma.
[ He paused again, reaching up to rest a hand on Josuke's shoulder to squeeze it just a little. ]

[ Josuke watches the little pistols attentively too, feeling proud about this little idea he had. When Mista's hand comes squeezing him on the shoulder, he rests his hand on Mista's. ]
No problem, man. I just ... hoped it might cheer you up. [ And it does look like it did, if only for this moment right now. ] They're really going for it, huh? They're a lot like hyperactive kids. How do you keep them in line?
[ It feels like having a babysitting gig 24/7 that you don't get paid for. ]
[ Even if it was a simple gesture there was so much warmth behind that hand that had settled over his. He was thoughtful about keeping the Pistols in line, had he ever really been able to do that completely?
Well, mostly, that's what he finally settled on as he shrugged just a little and let out a laugh. ]
Make sure they eat, talk to them, you know? Treat them like people, they hate being treated like things. And I mean, they're not really, yeah?
