[ On the day itself, Josuke will arrive as promised outside the ballroom. He's dressed in his ball outfit, a hot pink suit with his chest bared. He's also pinned on his trademark 'heart' and 'peace sign' badges. The first thing he does is looking for Mista and hope to god that boy opted to not wear his hat. ]
[ Thankfully Mista hadn't gone with some of the more wild choices that he'd found while suit hunting, opting for something that was still enough his style that he wouldn't feel out of place. He did also leave his hat back in his room at the villa, fidgeting with his tie as he waited outside the venue to meet up with Josuke.
Even if he really had been waiting for it, that voice caught him by surprise and he flushed just a little bit as his hands dropped rather suddenly from the tie at his neck. Up came one of those hands almost immediately, waving out of instinct. ]
H-hey, I hope this is okay, I didn't have a lot of options so I went with what just felt...right, you know?
[ So Mista somehow managed to find the one suit that not only fulfils his extremely unique sense of style, but also manages to make him look positively handsome and stunning. He also has no hat on, which is a bonus. Josuke, of course, has no problem with the guy's usual fashion sense, but it's a fact that he looks way better when his hair can actually be seen. ]
Whoa. I really like it, man. You look ... You look good like this. [ The bowtie adds a little bit of camp to the entire ensemble and it's honestly cute. The only thing missing from the outfit, in Josuke's opinion, is some sort of pin. He walks closer, giving that bowtie a fluff. ]
[ The moment he came in closer Mista felt a soothing wave of warmth pull over him, he couldn't explain it but being around Josuke made him feel comfortable. It felt strangely natural to be here with him like this, the touch to his bowtie terribly affectionate in it's execution.
He was flustered and absolutely tongue-tied, mouth opening to say something and only managing a soft laugh before reaching up to rest his hand on top of Josuke's. Was that too much? Was it too gay? He was still trying to figure this whole thing out. ]
Yeah, it took a couple of tries but I think it turned out all right. Maybe. It's probably too cheesy, isn't it?
[ It was a way of deflecting for just a moment, trying to organise his thoughts. ]

It's not cheesy at all. You look like one of those ... fancy rich people, on the red carpet. Really expensive.
[ And with Josuke's love for expensive looks, this is really to his taste. He clasps Mista's hand in both of his. ]

[ It's hard not to notice the fact that there's no shirt under that suit, his eyes drifting down and then back up just as quickly. Not cool Mista, don't stare, he looked good and he pulled it off but there wasn't a need to make it more than that. Or at least as obvious as it had been for a second.

[ He did notice Mista's eyes travelling down his chest and then back up. It both embarrasses him, his cheeks tinting pink, and makes him swell in some pride. He dresses to impress and has some pride in his looks. It's nice when the person he's trying to look nice for notices.
Since they've gotten closer now, and Josuke's gained a bit more confidence in this area since he first arrived in Lunatia, he lets himself be a bit cheeky. ]
You do like it. Maybe I should show up in clothes like these more often. [ He tugs at the opening at his chest, pulling the fabric aside to show more skin. ]
[ He might have been acting cheeky right now but it was endearing, probably more endearing than it should have been. Still he laughed, stealing a glance as that extra flash of skin was offered. ]
Yeah, I do, didn't I already tell you that you look amazing? I meant it.
[ He reached out, bringing his gaze back up to Josuke's eyes as he gently tugged that fabric back into place. ]
You look great in everything, but I wouldn't mind seeing a little more of you like this. It's a good look, I'm pretty sure I couldn't pull off anything like it...
[ And there it was, the flash of a bright smile again. ]

[ Josuke can feel his heart swelling up with fondness at that smile. He meant to be a bit of a tease, and the reaction he had gotten was surprisingly genuine. In fact, the praise makes him blush. If Mista wants to see him in more outfits like this, he considers showing up in other similar outfits.
His interest is piqued when Mista starts trailing off, and the implication both excites him and embarrasses him. He's definitely thinking about that 'maybe', what they could do at the end of the night. Josuke takes both of Mista's hands, stepping in closer now -- close enough for their noses to almost touch and the front of his pompadour to press gently against Mista's head. ] Yeah? 'Maybe' ...? Don't think I heard you clearly there. What do you wanna do?
[ He had initially trailed off because he felt like he was embarrassing himself, getting ahead of everything by considering how the night might end. Heat rose to his cheeks again as he found their faces close together, close enough for Josuke to feel that warmth resonating from him. ]

[ Shit, shit, shit. They'd been far more intimate than this, he wasn't ashamed but saying it was different than getting lost in the moment. He wasn't sure how to deflect it at all, reaching up to tap him on the shoulder lightly. ]

[ This guy -- he's so cute. Josuke feels his heart swelling up with fondness as he watches the other boy struggling to get his words out in that bashful way. Josuke clasps Mista's hands, closing the distance between them as he leans in to kiss him chastely on the lips. He then angles his face so he can whisper directly into Mista's ear. ]
[ Okay, that had been unexpectedly smooth and alluring, a shiver moving down his spine as he swallowed nervously. It’s not as if he needed to be worried or anxious, but the fact that it came so easily to Josuke was endearing.
He tried not to lean into all of that too eagerly, resting his forehead against the other boy's shoulder as he felt the warmth of that breath on his ear. He was definitely still embarrassed, but it the tension in his stomach was warm and somehow soft. ]
