I met some kind of magician freak that could see the pistols.
He tried to take my gun, but I got it back.

When we were on our way to Venice, I fought a Stand while you guys looked for a getaway car.
It was an automatic Stand that adapted and grew from learning its opponent's abilities. Had Gold Experience not been pushed to its limits I would've lost and died.

[ It takes a long time for him to reply. Torn because of loyalty to Giorno and the fact that Hisoka owed him new clothes; Giorno would win every time, though. More composed now that he admitted a weirdo kissed one of the pistols. ]

In terms of personality. I think Hisoka is his own entity, but what makes him curious about people is something else entirely.
From my very limited interaction with him I can safely say it's not something easy to suss out from himself.
