[ He leaned in to look in the little kitchen, hand on his chin thoughtfully as he considered that himself. ]
If we got a little table we can replace some of the other stuff in the kitchen and it can just be a dining room? Do you think there's a way to make the little fridge actually work? They'd probably like it if they could get to their own snacks sometimes, get some plates...
[ Yeah, he's really thinking about this too hard. ]
It's not just me that's happy, though, they're gonna lose it when I let them out! Keep this up and they're gonna start liking you more than me!
[ He was flushed this whole time, but it wasn't as noticeable since his head was practically shoved into the dollhouse. This was an incredibly thoughtful gift. ]
[ What a cute guy. Josuke really feels so proud of this idea he had. One of his better ideas in a long time ... ]
Plates and a table is doable, but we really gotta find a tech guy if we want to wire up a tiny fridge. Don't think anyone's got a stand that could help with that ...
[ A stand that shrinks stuff? But then they'd have to fork out all that money buying a real fridge. Still, it's a cute idea. ]
So, you think you're gonna let them out? [ He wants to see the little pistols running around in their new house. It sounds cute as heck. Of course, there's no way they'd end up liking him more than their own user. ]
Oh yeah, I guess you would need to have someone make the fridge.
[ There was a click of his tongue as he pulled back, arms crossing over his chest. ]
Eh, I mean, they can just deal with it the way we always do but I still want to get them some little plates. They don't need any flatware or anything because they eat with their hands...
[ He was almost a little too deep in thought, looking up at Josuke after a moment before chuckling awkwardly and bringing his own hand up to the back of his head. ]
Shit, yeah, I got so excited I didn't even think about letting them out! Guys, check it out, Josuke brought you something really fucking cool!
[ That announcement for them as he swung out the cylinder of his gun to let them crawl out and run wild in their little house. ]
You'd better say thanks too, he didn't have to do it...
[ The store he was at did sell tiny little dollhouse furniture and accessories, so they probably did have plates. Josuke makes a note to himself to go back there. Anyway, before that, it's time to enjoy the spoils of his efforts. Josuke moves closer to the dollhouse, watching with pride as the little pistols start exploring their new home. ]
Holy shit, this is cute -- Looks like they like it! But they're such a handful, huh? [ They're pretty much everywhere right now. It's a wonder how Mista keeps them in line. Josuke takes out his phone and starts capturing the moment on video. It's just really cute? ] We should probably get more beds though, I don't want 'em to start fighting.
[ He was practically beaming as he watched them tear around the tiny little house, those shrill but still pleasant voices sounded just as happy as he felt right now. Even that little flutter in his heart was nice, even if he wasn't sure what that was really about. He'd come to figure that out soon enough, wouldn't he? ]
Oh yeah, they're a fucking mess sometimes but I don't think I'd wanna see what things would be like if they weren't around...beds'd be good, though, in case they wanna take a nap when they're out.
[ There was a wistful smile on his lips, Mista shifting his weight slightly. ]
Sometimes I wish I could really leave them out all the time, let them do what they want and have a little freedom but that'd take a shit ton of chroma.
[ He paused again, reaching up to rest a hand on Josuke's shoulder to squeeze it just a little. ]
Hey, thanks again, this is really cool. Like, really cool.
[ Josuke watches the little pistols attentively too, feeling proud about this little idea he had. When Mista's hand comes squeezing him on the shoulder, he rests his hand on Mista's. ]
No problem, man. I just ... hoped it might cheer you up. [ And it does look like it did, if only for this moment right now. ] They're really going for it, huh? They're a lot like hyperactive kids. How do you keep them in line?
[ It feels like having a babysitting gig 24/7 that you don't get paid for. ]
[ Even if it was a simple gesture there was so much warmth behind that hand that had settled over his. He was thoughtful about keeping the Pistols in line, had he ever really been able to do that completely?
Well, mostly, that's what he finally settled on as he shrugged just a little and let out a laugh. ]
Make sure they eat, talk to them, you know? Treat them like people, they hate being treated like things. And I mean, they're not really, yeah?
